In the wake of the tragedy, the family and friends of Jackson, who was known for his kindness and jovial nature, have started a GoFundMe campaign to manage the funeral and travel expenses. The campaign was initiated by friends of Rani and Sunny, who hail from Kerala’s Kaipuzha and are identified as Jackson’s parents. The couple reportedly runs a restaurant in Gilroy and Rani is believed to work as a nurse.
