GEF Capital Partners acquires controlling stake in EnviroMix

GEF Capital Partners, a private equity fund manager, has acquired a controlling stake in South Carolina-based EnviroMix for an undisclosed price.

EnviroMix serves the municipal and industrial markets with its innovative water and wastewater solutions through its mixing and process control technologies.

The company is said to deliver its water and wastewater customers with various economic and environmental benefits through its focus on improved removal of nutrients, reductions in the use of energy, and savings in operational costs.

In conjunction with the deal, the management team of EnviroMix is retaining a significant stake in the company.

Ted Jenkins – EnviroMix CEO said: “EnviroMix is very proud of its ten-year history of technology and product development, which has resulted in industry-leading solutions such as BioMix compressed gas mixing and BioCycle optimized aerobic digestion.

For GEF Capital Partners, the legal advisor for the deal was Goodwin Procter, while Nelson Mullins was the legal advisor to EnviroMix.
