‘Gadar 2,’ the much-anticipated sequel starring Bollywood heavyweights Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, continues its meteoric rise at the box office. The film raked in an impressive Rs 55.4 crore on Independence Day and added another Rs 34.5 crore on its sixth day, according to trusted industry tracker Sacnilk. These figures escalate Gadar 2’s domestic nett collection to a staggering Rs 263.48 crore, boasting an occupancy rate of 56.09% on Wednesday.

Having been released on August 11, the movie kicked off with a robust Rs 40.1 crore on its opening day.
