GA Telesis makes landmark Airbus acquisition – Adds 23 aircraft from Spirit Airlines to fleet

GA Telesis, LLC, a global aviation leader, announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 23 Airbus A320ceo and A321ceo aircraft from Spirit Airlines, Inc., a move marking the company’s largest-ever non-leased fleet acquisition. This deal, involving planes manufactured between 2014 and 2019 and powered by V2527-A5 and V2533-A5 Select-One™ engines, adds significant value to GA Telesis’ fleet amid rising demand for narrow-body aircraft worldwide.

In addition to the Spirit Airlines transaction, GA Telesis has been actively expanding its lease portfolio. Earlier this month, the company acquired a trio of mid-life narrow-body aircraft from Avolon, which are on-lease with airlines across Europe, Japan, and Australia. This acquisition aligns with GA Telesis’ broader strategy, which includes more than 20 additional aircraft in its purchase pipeline, expected to close in the coming months.
