Julian Rios Cantu, all of just 18 years of age, and the co-founder and CEO of Higia Technologies, has developed the EVA smart bra which detects early signs of breast cancer.

The smart bra needs to be worn for an hour a week and is integrated with sensors for the breast cancer detection. It should not be worn for more than an hour a week as it could interfere with daily life, as per a report in The Telegraph.

According to the EVA smart bra developers, cancerous tumors need oxygen and nutrients to grow, this leads to blood vessels formation to meet the requirement through blood. This is the reason why the temperatures of breasts can drastically vary in breast cancer condition along with their texture and color.

Early detection of breast cancer can save the patient and give a chance to live longer. EVA smart bra does just that by enabling women to protect themselves from losing their lives to breast cancer.

Through the EVA smart bra, the wearer can help herself in knowing whether she is having breast cancer or not at a very early stage of the life-threatening disease. This allows for blood cancer treatment in its nascent stage which in turn significantly increases the survival chances of the patients.
