DXC Technology, a Fortune 500 global technology services leader, has announced its support for the Polish Payment Standard (PSP) in expanding its mobile payment system, BLIK, into Romania and Slovakia. This initiative will see DXC modernizing and adapting the BLIK central system to align with payment standards in the two countries, ensuring compatibility with the Romanian Leu and Euros, and facilitating connections to the SWIFT system.

BLIK’s Adaptation and Growth

Continuing a nine-year relationship, DXC will utilize software engineering expertise to develop PSP’s essential activities. This includes adapting the existing system to cater to the rapidly growing e-commerce segments in Romania and Slovakia and providing daily technical support. With BLIK already being one of the largest payment systems in Poland, this expansion is poised to further drive digital payments in the region.
