The grand opening celebrations in Alice, Texas, commenced at 9 a.m. with the participation of senior leaders and vendors. Attendees of the ribbon-cutting ceremony received complimentary tote bags filled with product samples, alongside refreshments from DG’s private brand, Clover Valley. In a gesture of community support, Dollar General contributed $20,000 to local educational and tutoring programs, splitting the donation between the Alicia Salinas Public Library and the Boys & Girls Club of Alice, and also donated new books to Saenz Elementary School to foster a love for reading among students.
