Coursera to further enhance technical skills of Birlasoft employees

Birlasoft, a global enterprise digital and IT services company, has entered into an agreement with Coursera, an online learning platform, to further improve the established technical skills of its employees.

This employee development initiative is expected to help over 12,500 employees of Birlasoft to further improve their established technical skills and broaden their knowledge base.

Coursera will enable Birlasoft employees to learn through structured interventions and develop critical digital capabilities as per the needs of the IT services company.

The employees of Birlasoft will have complete access to Coursera’s library of over 9,000 courses and Guided Projects as part of the partnership.

The collaboration will also provide the employees of Birlasoft access to programs directly from industry educators and universities such as Yale University, the University of Michigan, and INSEAD Business School.

“We want our employees always to stay ahead of the skill curve and to ensure that we deploy various methodologies to enhance the learning experience and to provide targeted development.”

The courses offered by Coursera will allow IT services company employees to further improve their knowledge on leading edge domains such as Blockchain, Cloud, Internet of Things, Artificial Learning/Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation and Cybersecurity.

Launched in 2012, Coursera collaborates with over 275 leading university and industry partners to offer a broad catalogue of content and credentials, including Guided Projects, courses, specializations, certificates, and bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
