Continental Hospitals launches 50-bed premium economy wing in Hyderabad

Continental Hospitals has launched a new premium economy wing in Hyderabad, India, marking a new pattern of the facility in the country’s healthcare space.

The 50-bed premium economy wing provides private, single-patient cubicles, apart from all features of a quaternary care healthcare facility for INR 1,500.

Speaking on the launch of the new facility, Jennifer Larson — US Consul General Hyderabad, said: “It’s a truly remarkable facility and I congratulate each one of you! I’m sure it will be a wonderful resource for patients from all over.”

The premium economy wing will complement Continental Hospitals’ aim to become the best healthcare service provider.

Founded in April 2013, Continental Hospitals is a multi-specialty, tertiary, and quaternary care facility in the Financial District of Hyderabad.

With over 40 specialties, the hospital is said to be India’s first hospital to receive gold-standard accreditation by QAI for WHO complaint patient-safety standards.

The key specialties at Continental Hospitals include oncology, orthopedics, gastroenterology, cardiology, multi-organ transplants, neuroscience, psychiatry and psychology, bariatrics and metabolic disorders, pulmonary and sleep medicine, and women and child care.
