ChromaDex launches NAD+ booster Tru Niagen across Walmart stores in US
ChromaDex, a California-based dietary supplement and food ingredient company, has launched Tru Niagen, its flagship consumer product, in 3,800 Walmart stores across the US.
Tru Niagen is a form of vitamin B3 which is known for elevating nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+), which is important in cellular energy metabolism and energy production. Apart from that, Tru Niagen is also claimed to reduce the effect of aging and daily wear and tear on the human body.
NAD+, which is a vital coenzyme that is produced naturally in the body decreases up to 50% between the ages of 40 and 60, as per studies.
Based on a 300mg/day serving, Tru Niagen is said to boost NAD+ by 40-50%, thereby helping consumers in aging better.
Rob Fried – CEO of ChromaDex said: “We are grateful to Walmart for their commitment to the Tru Niagen brand and for their collaboration in planning this launch.
“We are excited to make our product available to Walmart customers.”
The NAD+ booster will be available to Walmart customers in 100mg and 300mg serving sizes. Tru Niagen will also be available online with same-day delivery and in-store pickup options at certain locations.
