The solar park, equipped with over 1,800 solar panels, marks a pivotal moment in the cruise industry’s shift towards renewable energy sources. The transition to solar energy is expected to significantly reduce the port’s reliance on fossil fuels, thereby lowering greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 1,000 tons annually.
