Brigade Foundation, St John’s to establish two hospitals in Bengaluru

Brigade Foundation, a not-for-profit initiative by Brigade Group, is delighted to announce a collaboration with St John’s Medical College Hospital to set up two not-for-profit hospitals, each with 100 beds.

These medical facilities will be constructed at Brigade Group’s integrated housing projects, Brigade Meadows and Brigade EL-Dorado.

Brigade Meadows, a 60-acre development with 3000 completed and occupied apartments, is located on Kanakapura Road, adjacent to The Art of Living. The Brigade EL-Dorado project, which houses nearly 6000 apartments, is spread across 50 acres at AeroPark/Hardware Park in North Bangalore.

Dr Paul Parathazham — St. John’s Medical College and Hospital Director said: “St. John’s is very happy to partner with the Brigade Foundation in setting up 2 new 100-bed St. John’s Medical College Hospitals in the Brigade Housing Projects at Brigade Meadows and EL-Dorado.

“These 2 Not-for-Profit hospitals will help St. Johns expand its services to other parts of the City of Bangalore and take forward its mission to deliver affordable healthcare, especially to the underserved, with integrity, compassion and excellence.”

The planned hospitals are expected to be operational by 2024 at Brigade Meadows and by 2025 at Brigade EL-Dorado, respectively. This significant initiative aims to bolster the healthcare infrastructure of these burgeoning residential communities, reinforcing the commitment of both Brigade Foundation and St John’s Medical College Hospital to cater to the evolving healthcare needs of Bangalore’s residents.
