Bridgestone, a Japanese tire and rubber company, has acquired iTrack Solutions Business from Transense Technologies, a UK-based technology research licensing company, for an undisclosed price.

iTrack Solutions provides tire management solutions for the off-the-road (OTR) vehicle market. The business provides a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) that is designed specially for mining tires.

Apart from tire temperature and pressure monitoring, the iTrack tire management platform is said to offer customizable geofencing, speed alerts, and other services to enable mining customers to streamline their operations for better productivity and profitability.
