Birlasoft Q3 FY22 profit after tax increases by 18% to Rs 114cr

Birlasoft has registered an 18.2% increase in its profit after tax (PAT) for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2022 (Q3 FY22) to INR 114 crores ($15.2 million), compared to INR 96.4 crores ($13.1 million) in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

The Indian software company, which is part of the CK Birla Group, said that its revenue for the reported quarter ended 31 December 2021 was INR 1,072 crores ($143.4 million), which is a 21.7% increase compared to INR 880 crores ($119.5 million) in Q3 FY21.

During Q3 FY22, Birlasoft signed deals having a total contract value of $182 million. The company’s active client count as of 31 December 2021 stood at 285.
