Belcampo Meat has opened a new restaurant at 4 Hillsdale Mall in San Mateo, California, which will offer keto-friendly, gluten-free and dairy-free menu items.
The new restaurant is located at the Hillsdale Shopping Center. It offers menu items such as a whole pasture-raised chicken dinner, signature cocktails, and items from Belcampo Meat’s restaurants in Bay Area, Southern California and New York.
Some of the dishes include prime cuts of Belcampo’s filet, New York strip, dry-aged, grass-fed beef and lamb burgers, bone-in pork chop and bone-in ribeye, lamb shawarma, entree salads, bone broth soups and stews, and others.
Apart from the regular buns, Belcampo Meat’s burgers can also be offered on a keto-friendly “fit bun” baked by Misfits Bakehouse, a local Palo Alto company.
According to Belcampo Meat, all ingredients are non-GMO and procured from its own farm or as locally as possible. The restaurant claims to use only healthy oils in its recipes and fryers and features seafood that is regeneratively-farmed and tested for low mercury content.
Anya Fernald – Co-Founder and CEO at Belcampo Meat said: “We’re dedicated to revolutionizing the meat industry from the inside out, and one of the best ways to do that is by offering amazing tasting organic, grass-fed and -finished meat from our farms directly to consumers.
“Our restaurants empower people to make better choices for their own wellness – which also positively impacts animals and the planet. We’re excited for the opportunity to bring our clean, regeneratively-farmed meat to more people in the Bay Area through our new Hillsdale restaurant and to continue disrupting the meat industry with our transformative practices.”
The Belcampo Hillsdale restaurant features an indoor-outdoor bar, a dog-friendly patio, a large dining room, and a small private dining room.
