Axis Bank surpasses one million customers milestone for WhatsApp banking
Axis Bank claimed that it has surpassed the milestone of one million customers on its WhatsApp banking channel, which it had launched in January 2021.
The Indian private sector bank has received request count of six million so far for its WhatsApp banking services.
According to Axis Bank, customers by using its WhatsApp banking channel can begin a simple chat with the bank’s registered WhatsApp number 7036165000 and avail banking services and have their FAQs addressed instantly.
The Indian banking group said that the simple and easy type of banking has witnessed a great adoption among customers with the daily active user count averaging over 13,000. On the other hand, the average monthly active user count for Axis Bank WhatsApp banking channel goes up to two lakhs.
