Axis Bank announces launch of ONE MUMBAI Smart Card

Axis Bank has joined forces with Mumbai Metro One and RuPay to introduce ONE MUMBAI Smart Card for enabling contactless and cashless travel in Mumbai.

According to Axis Bank, ONE MUMBAI Smart Card is an open loop, contactless card that allows all-in-one multi-utility use for traveling, and for paying for e-commerce and retail transactions.

The card can be used for the daily shopping requirements of Mumbaikars including groceries, fuel, dining, and utility among others in addition to using it for traveling in the Mumbai Metro.

‘ONE MUMBAI’ Smart Card can be bought and recharged at ticket counters or customer care counters at all metro stations in Mumbai. The card can be recharged online as well.

Shubhodoy Mukherjee – CEO of Mumbai Metro One said: “We are delighted to launch the ‘ONE MUMBAI’ Smart Card for Mumbaikars, continuing with our tradition of providing world-class services. We expect this card to be used by all travelers and become popular amongst Mumbaikars who pay digitally.”

Available in Classic and Platinum variants, ONE MUMBAI Smart Card comes with accidental insurance, complimentary domestic airport lounge access, round-the-clock concierge services, access to local brand offers, and dining offers at partner restaurants.
