Indian electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Aventose Energy introduces its debut electric motorcycle – the M125. Set to launch in April 2024, this sleek, aggressive design directly challenges dominant 125 cc petrol bikes such as the Pulsar, Shine, and Raider.

Aventose Energy’s CEO, Vilas Tank, highlighted the meticulous design journey, emphasizing a three-year development process of the electric motorcycle. “Having tested the vehicle platform since 2019, our readiness ensures a seamless rollout of various models in quick succession. The M125 isn’t just our first motorcycle; it’s the culmination of years of dedicated design and testing. Its exceptional design coupled with robust reliability positions it uniquely in the market,” Tank remarked.

The M125 will feature two variants: the standard M125, boasting a 125 km range, and the extended M125 ER with an impressive 250 km reach. Priced competitively at 1.25 lacs and 1.40 lacs respectively (post FAME II subsidy), both electric motorcycle models offer removable batteries to encourage swift adoption across India, ensuring easy charging at home or public stations.
