With a planned investment of Rs 210 Crores, the company aims to expand its manufacturing capabilities in a 5-acre facility at Hardware Park-2, Pahadi Sharif, Hyderabad. This facility, named the Integrated Plant for Ingenious Defence Systems (IPiDS), is poised to manufacture missiles, their subsystems, and undertake Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) of weapons. Furthermore, Apollo Micro Systems is venturing into the manufacture of Unmanned Aerial Systems and Unmanned Ground Systems, emphasizing its role in advancing India’s defense manufacturing capabilities.

The foundation stone laying and groundbreaking ceremony of the IPiDS facility, held on 19th February 2024, was graced by distinguished guests including the Hon’ble Minister for ITE&C, Industries & Commerce and Legislative Affairs, Government of Telangana, Duddilla Sridhar Babu.
