Alkem Labs clears UK MHRA inspection of bioequivalence center in Taloja

Alkem Laboratories Limited (Alkem Labs) revealed that it has cleared an online inspection held by the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) of its bioequivalence center in Taloja, Maharashtra.

According to the Indian pharma company, the inspection of the bioequivalence facility in Taloja was carried out from 31 January 2022 and 4 February 2022 and 8 February 2022 to 10 February 2022.

Alkem Laboratories said that a Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Inspection Statement released on 12 May 2022 showed that no critical or major observations were identified and the inspection has been closed.

Recently, the Indian pharma company had cleared inspection at its manufacturing facility in Daman, which was held by Instituto de Salud Pública de Chile (ISP Chile).
