Air France flight cancellation leaves Indian travelers stranded in Paris
Air France’s cancellation of a Paris to Toronto flight due to technical difficulties resulted in many passengers, including Indian travelers, stranded at Paris airport.
The situation was brought to light through a series of tweets by a Twitter user detailing the plight of these stranded passengers.
Air France acknowledged the problem and expressed regret over the inconvenience caused. The airline stated its commitment to ensuring customers reach their final destinations as quickly as possible. Notably, the passengers had traveled from India intending to board the cancelled connecting flight to Toronto.
Particularly concerning was the situation of customers without Schengen visas, as they were unable to leave the terminal building. In response, Air France stated that its teams were assisting these passengers and providing them with accommodations in a dedicated area of the airport.

According to a series of tweets from Paris-based journalist Noopur Tiwari, the passengers had arrived in Paris from Mumbai on June 23 intending to board flight AF 356 to Toronto. The cancellation of this flight resulted in the current predicament.
The Indian Embassy in Paris has been alerted to the situation, with officials heading to the airport to negotiate an amicable settlement with both Air France and airport authorities. The unfolding situation underscores the challenges facing international travelers amidst the complexities of global aviation.
