Commercial Metals acquires AZZ’s Continuous Galvanized Rebar business

Commercial Metals Company, a Texas-based steel and metal manufacturer, said its fully-owned subsidiary CMC Steel Oklahoma has acquired almost all of the assets of AZZ’s Continuous Galvanized Rebar business which produces GalvaBar.

GalvaBar is said to be a galvanized rebar, which has a zinc alloy coating for giving superior corrosion protection and also superior post-fabrication formability.

AZZ’s Continuous Galvanized Rebar business operates from a dedicated facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and its products are sold across the US and the Caribbean islands.
