Tata Elxsi and Emerson launch revolutionary automotive innovation hub in Bengaluru

Tata Elxsi, a leader in global design and technology services, alongside Emerson, a major player in global automation, have officially inaugurated the Tata Elxsi + NI Mobility Innovation Centre (TENMIC) in Bengaluru. This cutting-edge facility is set to spearhead advancements in automotive innovation, merging state-of-the-art systems and software solutions with global automotive expertise.

The inauguration was led by Manoj Raghavan, MD & CEO of Tata Elxsi, Ritu Favre, President of the Test and Measurement Business Group at Emerson, and Drita Roggenbuck, VP & GM of the Transportation Business Unit at Emerson. The event saw attendance from senior technology and R&D leaders from global OEMs, leading automotive suppliers, and semiconductor companies, emphasizing the importance of the TENMIC and the collaboration between Tata Elxsi and NI in driving automotive development and innovation forward.

The automotive industry is undergoing significant changes with the rise of software-defined vehicles (SDV) and the increased integration of digital technologies. These shifts require innovations to be developed, validated, and launched at unprecedented speeds while maintaining high standards of reliability, safety, and performance. TENMIC aligns with these industry shifts, enabling OEMs to validate performance and functionality earlier in the development process through both virtual and physical testing.

Tata Elxsi and Emerson’s new Mobility Innovation Centre in Bengaluru is setting the pace for future automotive technologies.

At the heart of TENMIC are the advanced technologies and systems from Emerson’s Test & Measurement business, combined with Tata Elxsi’s deep expertise in automotive engineering, data analytics, and digitalization. This partnership aims to deliver comprehensive automated solutions across several domains, including advancements in autonomous driving technologies, electric vehicle systems, and batteries.
