The joint solution between Mavenir and Qualcomm Technologies is a game-changer for operators, optimizing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) through substantial reductions in CPU/core usage and energy consumption. The collaboration has already marked a significant milestone by successfully demonstrating the integration of in-line acceleration. Utilizing the Qualcomm X100 5G RAN accelerator card alongside Mavenir’s cloud-native virtualized Distributed Unit (vDU) software solution, the partnership achieved a capacity of 3Gbps in a live massive MIMO environment.
