Wysoka wind farm : Nordex to supply 63MW turbines for Polish wind project

Nordex Group has bagged a contract to supply wind turbines to the 63MW Wysoka wind farm in Poland from OX2, a Swedish wind farm developer.

Under the terms of the contract, the German wind turbine manufacturer will supply 11 N149/5.X turbines for the Polish wind project. Group will also be responsible for servicing the turbines for a period of 30 years.

The Wysoka wind farm will be constructed nearly 125km to the southeast of in northwestern Poland.

The N149/5.X turbines will be delivered by on tubular steel towers having hub heights of 125m. The turbines will have a nominal capacity of 5.7MW.

According to Nordex Group, installation of the N149/5.X turbines is slated to start mid-2023 with commissioning to be done the following year. After this, OX2 will take over the technical and operational management of the Wysoka wind farm for , the project’s owner.
