Wysoka wind farm : Nordex to supply 63MW turbines for Polish wind project

Nordex Group has bagged a contract to supply wind turbines to the 63MW Wysoka wind farm in Poland from OX2, a Swedish wind farm developer.

Under the terms of the contract, the German wind turbine manufacturer will supply 11 N149/5.X turbines for the Polish wind project. Nordex Group will also be responsible for servicing the turbines for a period of 30 years.

The Wysoka wind farm will be constructed nearly 125km to the southeast of Koszalin in northwestern Poland.

The N149/5.X turbines will be delivered by Nordex Group on tubular steel towers having hub heights of 125m. The turbines will have a nominal capacity of 5.7MW.

According to Nordex Group, installation of the N149/5.X turbines is slated to start mid-2023 with commissioning to be done the following year. After this, OX2 will take over the technical and operational management of the Wysoka wind farm for Ingka Group, the project’s owner.
