World Insurance Associates acquires Professional Insurance Consulting

World Insurance Associates (WIA), a New Jersey based insurance brokerage, has acquired Professional Insurance Consulting (PICI) for an undisclosed price.

Professional Insurance Consulting is an independent property-casualty insurance agency based in Fort Mill, South Carolina, which was founded by Diane Woods in 2005. The property-casualty insurance company is focused on commercial lines, and is said to be specialized in pizza shops, automatic sprinkler industry, and non-profit organizations.

Rich Eknoian – CEO and Co-Founder of World Insurance Associates said: “We are excited to expand our presence in South Carolina.

World Insurance Associates, which is headquartered in Tinton Falls, offers asset and lifestyle protection with insurance, risk management, and benefit consulting services for individuals and businesses.

Founded in 2012, World Insurance Associates has to date made 63 acquisitions and has 50 offices across 13 states and Washington, D.C.

For World Insurance Associates, the legal counsel was Giordano, Haleran & Ciesla. For Professional Insurance Consulting, the legal counsel was Penwell Bowman + Curran, while Policastro & Associates was the advisor for the transaction.
