Wipro roped in by ABB as strategic transformation partner
Wipro has bagged a five-year contract worth more than $150 million from ABB to drive transformation for its Information Systems digital workplace services.
The Indian IT services provider will help ABB’s Information Systems provide improved, consumer-grade digital experiences for its 105,000 employees in more than 100 countries.
The engagement, which will be centrally led from Switzerland by ABB and Wipro will deliver greater automation and better user experience by means of customized services that are supported by real-time analytics. All these will be wrapped with Wipro’s endpoint security services.
Additionally, Wipro will provide managed services support to ABB by leveraging its LiVE Workspace solution.

The new partnership between Wipro and ABB is said to build on an ongoing digital workplace transformation engagement.
