White Organic Agro Limited set to win Rs 90cr order for food grains supply

White Organic Agro Limited said that it has received a letter of intent for continual supply order worth INR 90 crores of various food grains, comprising primarily rice, pulses, wheat, and others commodities to be supplied in the Indian domestic market.

According to Mumbai-based company, this is an additional business opportunity emerging from the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic.

White Organic Agro stated: “Considering the profitability in the business options arisen during this pandemic, taking prompt actions and being opportunistic is the essence for business and increasing the profitability.”

The company said that its initial samples have passed all the necessary quality checks. After completion of the initial supply of rice, the undisclosed buyer will look to sign a long term contract for the supply of food grains needed for their distribution network in the domestic market and also across the world, said White Organic Agro.

The company said that the total LOI received for the supply orders is INR 200 crores. This includes last month’s food grains contract worth up to INR 110 crore.
