Vista Global to acquire North American charter operator Jet Edge

Vista Global Holding, a Dubai-based private aviation group, has agreed to indirectly acquire Jet Edge, a North American charter operator, for an undisclosed price.

Established in 2011, Jet Edge is an integrated charter, management and brokerage platform. The company is engaged in providing large-cabin and super-midsize private jet charter and aircraft management services.

At the time of signing the deal, the charter operator is said to have a run rate of over 60,000 yearly flight hours, exclusively in the large-cabin and super-midsize category.

As per the US Department of Transportation requirements, Vista Global Holding will acquire the aircraft, hospitality and maintenance facilities of Jet Edge. XOJET Aviation, which is Vista Global Holding’s operating partner in the US, will acquire a majority stake of the Part 135 certificates of Western Air Charter and Jet Select.

After the closing of the deal, which is likely to happen in Q2 2022 subject to customary closing conditions, Vista Global Holding anticipates its fleet availability to grow to nearly 350 aircraft.
