In addition to these responsibilities, Vestas will also handle the servicing of the turbines under a comprehensive 5-year service agreement, followed by a long-term operational support agreement. The OranjeWind project is a joint venture between RWE and TotalEnergies, each holding a 50% stake in the development. Announced last week, this partnership aims to deliver an offshore wind farm with an impressive installed capacity of 795 MW. The grid connection capacity for the project is set at 760 MW, with an additional 35 MW reserved to optimise the use of connection capacity even during periods of lower production.
