US flooring retailer Floor & Decor opens new distribution center in Savannah
Retail industry news : Floor & Decor, a flooring retailer offering hard-surface flooring and related accessories has opened a new distribution center in Savannah in the US state of Georgia.
The new Floor & Decor distribution center is of 1.4 million square foot area, which has been constructed on a 90-acre site in the Morgan Business Center, an industrial park in Bloomingdale.
Commenting on the new Floor & Decor distribution center in Savannah, Tom Taylor – CEO of Floor & Décor, said: “Opening the new Savannah distribution center marks another milestone in the growth of Floor and Décor.
“Due to the diligent efforts of our world-class distribution team and our great partnerships with the Savannah Economic Development Authority, the Georgia Ports Authority, Duke Realty and others, we are proud to make Savannah one of our long-term distribution homes.”

Floor & Décor says that its new Savannah distribution center has created 30 new jobs while accommodating 55 jobs following the shifting over of an old distribution center.

The Atlanta-based Floor & Decor offers its customers a range of tile, wood, laminate and natural stone flooring and also decorative and installation accessories.
