Unicommerce expands omnichannel support for SUGAR Cosmetics to boost customer experience
Unicommerce eSolutions Limited, one of India’s foremost e-commerce enablement platforms, has broadened its partnership with SUGAR Cosmetics by deploying its omnichannel retail solutions. This development enhances SUGAR’s ability to integrate physical stores, warehouses, brand websites, and multiple marketplaces under a single, centralised system.
For over five years, SUGAR Cosmetics has utilised Unicommerce’s multi-channel order management and warehouse systems to streamline its e-commerce operations. The new addition of omnichannel capabilities aims to fortify its physical and online retail synergy. This includes enabling services such as ship-from-store, order switching between warehouses and retail outlets, and seamless inventory visibility.
A strategic leap in customer engagement
Jasmin Gohil, Chief Technology Officer of SUGAR Cosmetics, highlighted the importance of adapting to a dynamic retail landscape. She noted that omnichannel capabilities are pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction across platforms. The brand’s collaboration with Unicommerce, she stated, has consistently delivered impressive results and will now further improve the brand’s ability to serve its customers effectively across all touchpoints.
The Diwali sales of 2024 reflected the growing demand for SUGAR Cosmetics’ offerings, with a 100% surge in makeup product order volumes compared to the previous year. Leveraging Unicommerce’s technology stack will optimise return processes and provide customers with a holistic brand experience, boosting opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Omnichannel potential driving retail innovation
Unicommerce’s Managing Director and CEO, Kapil Makhija, stressed the increasing importance of technology in delivering superior post-purchase experiences. He expressed confidence in the long-standing partnership with SUGAR Cosmetics and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to enhancing its clients’ operational efficiency through integrated solutions.
As of Q2 2025, Unicommerce supports over 3,550 clients across D2C brands, retail firms, and logistics providers, boasting 260+ technology integrations. Its robust platform manages more than 8,800 warehouses and 3,150 omni-enabled stores globally.
This partnership underscores the broader trend of retailers investing in omnichannel strategies to keep pace with evolving consumer preferences. With its advanced technology, Unicommerce continues to play a crucial role in transforming the retail and e-commerce ecosystem.
