TVS Motor Company, a leading global automaker, has announced an expansion of its TVS iQube electric scooter series, introducing new variants with enhanced battery capacities and a range of advanced features. The launch took place at the Choose France Summit, hosted by President Emmanuel Macron, signaling the company’s commitment to sustainable mobility solutions.
Introduction of New Variants:
The newly launched variants of the TVS iQube include a model with a 2.2 kWh battery and an updated TVS iQube ST that now comes in two versions: one with a 3.4 kWh battery and another with a 5.1 kWh battery, the latter being the largest battery pack available in the segment. These additions expand the iQube series to a total of five variants, available in 11 vibrant colors, making it one of the most diverse and attractive electric vehicle (EV) portfolios in the market.
Pricing and Availability:
The new 2.2 kWh TVS iQube is introduced at an effective ex-showroom price of Rs. 94,999 in Bengaluru, making it a highly affordable option in the EV segment. This price includes subsidies and cashback offers valid until June 30, 2024. The TVS iQube ST’s 5.1 kWh variant is priced at Rs. 185,373 ex-showroom Bengaluru. Customers who pre-booked the ST variant before July 15, 2022, are eligible for an introductory loyalty bonus of Rs. 10,000.
Advanced Features and Specifications:
– TVS iQube (2.2 kWh): Offers a top speed of 75 kmph, a 950W charger, and the fastest charging time in its class at just 2 hours for 0-80%. It also features a 5-inch color TFT screen, vehicle crash and tow alert, turn-by-turn navigation, and substantial under-seat storage of 30 liters.
– TVS iQube ST (5.1 kWh): Provides a superior range of 150 km, a 7-inch full-color TFT touchscreen, and more than 118 connected features including voice assist and Alexa integration. It boasts a top speed of 82 kmph and includes a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
– TVS iQube ST (3.4 kWh): Offers a 100 km range with similar high-tech features as the 5.1 kWh variant but with a slightly lower top speed of 78 kmph.
