TT Capital Partners makes majority growth investment in Pyx Health

Pyx Health, a technology-based services company designed to mitigate loneliness and social isolation among health plan members, has received a majority growth investment from TT Capital Partners (TTCP). Pyx Health utilizes a unique blend of app-based technology and timely human interventions to promote health equity, improve patient outcomes, and lessen the financial strains on the health care system.

The company, founded in 2017, is currently operational in more than 70 markets across nearly 30 states and serves over 6 million covered lives, ranging in age from 13 to 102. Pyx Health collaborates with most major payers, including government, employer and community health plans across the US.

The company has pioneered an evidence-based, data-driven solution to combat the pressing issue of loneliness in society. The Pyx Health approach, combining technology with skilled human support, successfully alleviates loneliness, leading to improved mental health outcomes, decreased loneliness-related physical health conditions, and overall reduction in health care costs.

“Health plans are increasingly seeking ways to address loneliness and social determinants of health – and to manage costs for complex populations,” stated Dawn Owens, TTCP Partner and CEO. “We have followed Pyx Health for several years and look forward to building upon our prior experience with businesses that address social determinants of health, improve health equity, and drive consumer engagement.”
