TransPerfect acquires Irish gaming services company MoGi Group
TransPerfect acquisition of MoGi : US translation services company TransPerfect has acquired Irish gaming services company MoGi Group based in Dublin, in a move to offer quality service in the global gaming industry.
MoGi with more than 650 clients globally offers video game localization, community management, player support, quality assurance, and games testing, voice-over recording, cybersecurity, tool development, art design, and age rating services.
Listed as number three in the world for gaming localization by industry experts, the Irish gaming services company has offices in Europe and the US, including Athens, Berlin, Brussels, Munich, and Charlotte.

Post-acquisition, MoGi will get a channel to reach the APAC and Latin America regions through TransPerfect’s offices in Japan, Korea, Brazil, and North America.
TransPerfect said that the Irish gaming services company will also continue to invest in its creative services growth, including its recently announced art division, and its new animation groups.
MoGi’s CEO and founder Orad Elkayam as well as head of Global Operations Zoi Vitsentzou will join TransPerfect’s senior management team and continue to lead MoGi’s day-to-day operations as Division President and Head of Global Gaming Operations, respectively.

The financial details of TransPerfect acquisition of MoGi have not been disclosed.
