Total Transport Systems, a cargo forwarding, consolidation, and deconsolidation provider, has been granted 50 new stations from Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart as its outsourced delivery hub (ODH).
According to Total Transport Systems, Flipkart delivers the shipments at small delivery hubs owned and operated by vendors, who in turn deliver them directly to the customers as per the e-commerce firm’s rules and guidelines.
The logistics company has been working with Flipkart since September 2019, starting off with one hub. It has grown to serve nearly 331 pin codes across 11 states with a daily shipment count of approximately 40,000.
Makrand Pradhan — Total Transport Systems Managing Director said: “It gives me great pleasure to share that our last mile connectivity business has been growing significantly in a highly competitive and fragmented market and in these trying times.
“We believe growth comes from continuous high value of timely service and surpassing our deliverables which makes our partners more confident in us and thus enabling us to grow exponentially.”
