Torrent Power acquires 50MW Wind Two Renergy wind farm in Gujarat
Torrent Power said that it has acquired Wind Two Renergy Private Limited, the holding company for a 50MW wind farm in Gujarat, for a price of INR 32.51 crores in cash.
The company acquired Wind Two Renergy from lnox Green Energy Services (previously called lnox Wind Infrastructure Services).
Wind Two Renergy operates the wind power project in Dayapar Village, Lakhpat Taluka in Kutch District. The project is powered by 25 lnox DF/2000/113 wind turbines, each having a capacity of 2MW.

The power produced by the Wind Two Renergy wind farm in Gujarat is provided under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with PTC India Limited.
According to Torrent Power, the acquisition of the Gujarat wind power project supports its focus area of sustainable growth by means of renewable energy.
