The Good Bean rolls out Chocolate Covered Chickpeas range

The Good Bean, a maker of plant-based snacks, has rolled out a new line of whole-bean snacks line branded as Chocolate Covered Chickpeas in the US.

The new confection product has been launched in three flavors – Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, and Mocha Chocolate. The launch marks the entry of The Good Bean into the confection segment.

According to The Good Bean, its Chocolate Covered Chickpeas products are comparable to malted-milk balls and contain 3g protein and 120 calories per serving.

The Good Bean Chocolate Covered Chickpeas begins with a lightly roasted and crunchy whole chickpea, covered with chocolate and finished with a crispy candy shell.

The Good Bean said that the new product range is made in small batches with Fair Trade chocolate and chickpeas grown in the US.

The Good Bean Chocolate Covered Chickpeas is priced at $4.50 per 3.5 ounce bag and can be bought from Amazon and the company website, while other national retailers are expected to follow suit in the coming months.
