Tecnotree announces partnership with people+ai for open cloud compute project

Tecnotree, a leading provider of digital platforms and services for AI, 5G, and cloud-native technologies, has formed a strategic partnership with people+ai, an initiative of the non-profit EkStep Foundation, to join the Open Cloud Compute (OCC) project. This collaboration aims to enhance India’s compute ecosystem by establishing a network of accessible and customized compute resources, aligning with a vision to unify global ecosystems for future standards and capabilities in AI and Cloud Infrastructure.

Holding the market-leading position in TM Forum Open API Conformance, Tecnotree boasts the highest number of certified APIs among all members, with 59 certified Open APIs and an additional 17 transformation APIs from Camara defined by GSMA. This robust suite of 76 APIs supports over 250 out-of-the-box journeys across the order-to-cash and provisioning lifecycle for monetization, positioning Tecnotree at the forefront of technological integration and service provision.

The partnership reflects a collective effort to meet the burgeoning demand for compute resources, with significant contributions from other technology giants including Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Oracle, Dell Technologies, Tata Communications, and IBM. A pivotal discussion facilitated by Nandan Nilekani, Co-Founder & Director of EkStep Foundation, and Dr. Pramod Varma, CTO of EkStep Foundation, involved representatives from over 20 organizations. The session focused on laying the groundwork for creating a unified and open interface for computing infrastructure providers and customers in India.
