TD Synnex, an IT ecosystem solutions distributor and aggregator, has finalized the acquisition of the cloud migration business of IPsense, a Brazilian cloud solutions provider. This move solidifies TD Synnex’s presence in Latin America’s burgeoning digital transformation sector, establishing a cloud competency center in Brazil to facilitate seamless workload migrations for business partners.

The newly acquired business specializes in designing, integrating, and deploying Amazon Web Services (AWS) solutions. With this addition, TD Synnex aims to enhance the value delivered to its partners while positioning itself as a pivotal player in the region’s cloud transformation journey.

Otavio Lazarini, President of TD Synnex for Latin America and the Caribbean, expressed enthusiasm about the deal, highlighting how it bolsters the company’s ability to assist partners in scaling their cloud businesses. He noted that the planned competency center would enable channel partners to efficiently migrate workloads, offering cutting-edge, scalable solutions tailored to evolving business needs.

The acquisition aligns with TD Synnex’s strategy to expand its high-growth technology segments, including cloud, cybersecurity, and data analytics. The company, which operates in over 100 countries and collaborates with 2,500 technology vendors, will integrate IPsense’s cloud migration sales model into its two-tier distribution network. This approach encourages partner-to-partner projects, fostering collaboration and leveraging shared expertise for mutual growth.
