TCS to provide cloud first digital solutions to Virgin Atlantic

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) said that it has extended its partnership with British airline Virgin Atlantic to help it begin a new phase of recovery and growth by using innovative cloud first digital solutions.

The Indian IT services company will be exclusively responsible for the end-to-end operational management and of Virgin Atlantic under the enhanced partnership.

As part of this, Tata Consultancy Services will enable Virgin Atlantic to utilize the best of Azure by implementing various technology and business transformation initiatives. Apart from that, the Indian IT giant will develop innovative digital solutions with cloud first guiding principles to help the British airline enhance technology resilience, performance, and agility in the purpose-led transformation.

The expanded engagement will leverage the contextual knowledge and expertise of an integrated team made up of Tata Consultancy Services and Virgin Atlantic’s people to run and transform the latter’s end-to-end technology operations. It will involve the transfer of more than 70 of Virgin Atlantic’s technology team to Tata Consultancy Services, thereby bringing together diverse talent within a single integrated team.
