Tata Motors wins contract to supply 1,350 bus chassis to UPSRTC

India’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, Tata Motors, has announced securing a prestigious order from the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC). The company will supply 1,350 units of the Tata LPO 1618 diesel bus chassis, a model developed specifically for intercity and long-distance travel. Adhering to BS6 emission standards, the Tata LPO 1618 is known for its superior performance, exceptional passenger comfort, and best-in-class total cost of ownership (TCO). This significant order was secured through a competitive e-bidding process under the Government tendering system and will be fulfilled in a phased manner.
