Tata Motors introduces new Ultra T.9 and T.14 heavy-duty trucks in South Africa
In a significant move for the logistics and transportation sector, Tata Motors, India‘s leading multinational automobile manufacturer, in collaboration with its authorised distributor, Tata Africa Holdings Limited, has announced the commercial launch of its advanced range of multipurpose heavy-duty trucks – the Ultra T.9 and Ultra T.14, in South Africa. This launch is poised to meet the growing demands for safer, smarter, and greener cargo mobility solutions in the region.
Designed with the evolving needs of conventional and specialist logistics applications in mind, such as bakery, FMCG, white goods, agriculture, and construction, the Ultra range stands out for its high productivity. These trucks are engineered to deliver best-in-class power, torque, and fuel efficiency, significantly lowering the total cost of ownership (TCO) for fleet operators.
The Ultra series boasts a host of driver-centric features, including a walk-through cabin, power steering, dashboard-mounted gear lever, booster-assisted clutch, and mechanically suspended seat, ensuring safe and fatigue-free driving.
