Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has introduced the TCS Servitization Engine on Oracle Cloud for helping customers in creating subscription-first business models and offering outcome-based solutions with intelligent service capabilities.
According to the Indian IT services provider, the engine provides an industry package with bundled combinations of services, products, support, knowledge base, and self-service that can be leveraged by firms to add value to their core product offerings.
Besides, TCS Servitization Engine comes with strong front-end customer-facing solutions, claimed Tata Consultancy Services.
The TCS engine is said to provide a blend of a service-centric approach, data monetization, and personalization of products to allow pay-as-you-go services.
It is built on TCS Crystallus for Oracle Cloud.
The preconfigured model office framework makes use of developing technologies powered by TCS Research & Innovation. These include predictive and prescriptive analytic insights as well as digitally interpretable knowledge for the enhancement of performance. The services can be paired with Tata Consultancy Services’ conversational services products, which are augmented by contextual artificial intelligence (AI) components.
Prashant Shirgur — Tata Consultancy Services Global Head of Enterprise Application Services said: “TCS’ Servitization Engine solution leverages our functional knowledge with Oracle Cloud technologies and our deep expertise in evolving innovative business models, to help organizations reimagine their business strategies and embrace an outcome-based approach.”
The TCS Servitization Engine solution is said to aid in rolling out products across pricing models, integration of front- and back-office operations, and bringing insights to the front office.
By working with the offerings of Oracle Cloud, the TCS engine facilitates business agility by expediting time to market, increasing and measuring the recurring revenue, and growing the lifetime value of a customer by cross-selling, upselling, and enhancing customer retention.
Rob Tarkoff — Executive Vice President and General Manager, Oracle Advertising and Customer Experience, said: “TCS’ Servitization offering allows Oracle’s customers to better configure new subscription or industry-specific services.
“This helps add streams of repeatable revenue income by tying together process flows and achieving a cleaner line-of-sight into revenue and service operations.”
