Valmet (VALMT) to acquire Tieto’s €32m software business as orders jump 30% and break-up review advances
Valmet has agreed to acquire Tieto's manufacturing execution software business, adding an established platform used at approximately 300 pulp and paper production sites worldwide. The deal follows stronger quarterly orders and coincides with the settlement of a long-running arbitration, while a separate strategic review could reshape the Finnish industrial group.
