Cowboy Space opens Big Iron Express launch services as 2028 orbital data-centre mission approaches
Cowboy Space has unveiled Big Iron, an 86-metre reusable-booster rocket designed to carry more than 15,000 kilograms into sun-synchronous orbit while transforming its upper stage into a megawatt-class AI data centre. The company is also opening launch capacity to government and commercial customers, introducing a new business model at the intersection of space transportation and computing infrastructure.
