Oak Hill Capital to acquire majority stake in Wyyerd from Carlyle
Oak Hill Capital has agreed to acquire majority ownership of Wyyerd Group Holdings from Carlyle following five years of significant network expansion. The deal brings a regional broadband platform into an investment portfolio spanning 37 US states, but its financial returns will depend on subscriber growth, construction economics and capital deployment.

The valuation suggests KKR is betting that garage-door repair can follow HVAC and plumbing into a much larger institutional consolidation cycle.
