Platinum Equity has agreed to acquire Energy Distribution Partners, a US propane distributor built through 45 acquisitions and operating across 24 states. The proposed transaction follows a period of substantial earnings growth under PPC ownership, but further expansion will depend on acquisition economics, operating efficiency and maintaining local customer relationships.
