Bank of Montreal has completed the initial transfer of its transportation and vendor-finance businesses to Stonepeak, establishing Longview Capital Solutions as an independent equipment-finance platform. The transaction reduces the bank's direct exposure to capital-intensive lending while preserving minority ownership, although part of the portfolio remains to be transferred.
