Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has raised its annual business profit forecast to ¥600 billion after strong energy and defence demand. However, a ¥67.5 billion warranty provision for two power plants raises questions about project execution, while the company has also authorised up to ¥300 billion in share repurchases.
